AGSM/SVA Team Kick off Pilot Project

The AGSM team of Sreyssha, Viren, Ray and Alison met with SVA this morning to kick off the pilot project. Over the next four weeks the team will be putting in some long hours creating an industry analysis, specific to the broker tier which lies between corporates and non-for-profits.

I would like to thank Sreyssha, Viren and Alison for signing up to the team. We all know in the next few weeks how busy things are, yet they "big time" differentiated themselves from the crowd by their willingness to give back and set this project in train, the benefits of which future teams will reap.

We are still looking for volunteers to help out..if you have even a few hours free, we have many calls to be made and need to share the load. Don't be shy, support your fellow classmates and drop me a mail today.

Exto Partners Pty Ltd is delighted to announce that Jayesh Shah has been selected as the winner of the Exto Challenge 2007.

The inaugural Exto Challenge was launched in June 2007 to encourage entrepreneurial thinking amongst the Australian Graduate School of Management full time MBA class. Students were asked to submit a brief executive summary outlining their idea for a new business opportunity together with their curriculum vitae. Submissions were reviewed by Exto Partners and finalists were short listed and invited to attend an interview to present their business idea and respond to questions.

This year’s finalists were Sreyssha Karukappally, Virginia Lam, David Tan and Jayesh Shah, all of whom were selected based on the high standard of their submissions. Exto Partners has offered Jayesh an internship which will provide him with the opportunity to research and validate his business idea while working as part of the Exto team and learning about the private equity/venture capital industry.
