About the AGSM Student Society

The AGSM Student Society's mission is: "To encourage the development of life-long ties for students whilst creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment."

The role of the Student Society is to make the AGSM student experience as positive and fulfilling as possible. It provides students with a platform to recommend enhancements and to address their concerns in relation to their studies and the school environment in general. The Student Society has representatives who deal with all facets of student life and arrange many great activities for students including guest speakers, careers workshops, social events and more.

Get involved in your Student Society, work hard and play harder!

Student Society - weekly open door meetings

Have your say in the Student Society by attending the weekly meetings, held each Monday in session from 2:30 - 3:30 pm in Syndicate room G23.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss events, ideas, issues and concerns of the student body. These meetings are 'open-door' meaning all students are welcome to join to discuss, ask questions or even just listen in. There's plenty of things going on so we're always looking for people who want to pitch in and are always open to new ideas or suggestions.

The standing agenda for meetings is as follows:

• Update on follow-up items from last meeting
• Update on Student Society events/activities
• Club events/activities – calendar planning
• Program/Academic topics
• Steering committee updates
• All other business
